I give thanks

I give thanks for my life.
for ideas that seed and create.
I give thanks for disclipline
in seeing it through.
I give thanks for nourishment and pure water.
I give thanks for those who love me.
Thanks to those that teach me.
Thanks to those that inspire me
To keep the faith.
And to keep moving towards my goals.
I give thanks for those who lift me.
I give thanks for the open doors,
that bless me.
I give thanks for my song.
I give thanks for joy and happiness.
I give thanks for those who stand.
I give thanks for compassion.
I give thanks for peace.
I give thanks for freedom.
of the ability to be me.

Tears of a Nation

Today, it rained on the top of the world. I was there, walking on the slushy ice covetered sidewalks.  An iron statue of a ram greeted us with information of its trek along the mountains and its tie to the tiny town of Radium Hotsprings.
In the visitor centre, I found a wall of the history of the native people of the lands.
It was a reminder. A reminder that just because they deem you a criminal today does not mean you will not be considered an hero tomorrow.
If history tells us anything, it tells us of the governments

2014 slaves, horses, death...NOW PRAY!

I have spent this last month, discovering more injustices. With the escape of Brian McGiveran, the naked Texas prisoner. He made the headlines because he was recaptured in the forest without clothes. The video gave me a haunting memory of the past and Africans in chains naked and sold as livestock. They are a slew of Police walking around, laughing, patting eachother on the back returning a man to a cage. Naked and in chains. He was convicted of 2 aggrevated burglary which occured within hours of each other when he was 17.
"Wanted DEAD OR ALIVE, BEATEN AND BROKEN" He was sentenced to 30+ years. Is this how you would punish your child? ? He does 18 years and can't take it no more and escapes. What do think is happening to him? It is not fair to give extreme punishments for crimes that do not equate. It is slavery. I did research, found some organizations and asked them to look into this case. I have not heard back. And down the rabbit hole I go... I researched police brutality. From the beginnings of railroad workers and coal miners. Hired by big business to intimidate the working class man into submission. Why is it okay for cops to beat our asses, strip us, chain us, cage us, disrespect us? They lose it all the time and don't have any accountability. The Government is responsible for hiring these aggressive enforcers. Why should they be allowed to serve us? Why can't we decide who polices our community. Do we feel safe for our children? It is possible to use your accounts as votes. Hastags. Do you think you would want the right to choose who is capable of serving and protecting. Then I came across Delbert Africa
. Delbert was part of a 70's Africa back to nature movement, MOVE One police officer got shot and 9 MOVE members where convicted of his murder, with 100 year sentence. The Documentary, "Let the Fire Burn" was a documentary documenting the second "travesty" in 1985. The Eighth Amendment (Amendment VIII) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights (ratified December 15, 1791[1]) prohibiting the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines or cruel and unusual punishments, including torture. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that this amendment's Cruel and Unusual Punishment Clause also applies to the states. The phrases in this amendment originated in the English Bill of Rights of 1689. I believe we must stand for what is right. Police officers are sworn to protect and serve, if they violate this oath, shouldn't they be held to the fullest extent of the law? I believe so.)
Free all prisoners who have truly paid their debt. What is really fair? Truly, we confuse our youth. What is right? They killed a guy in Tacoma, 4 on 1 this week. He asked for help. A party with loud music, tazed a grandma, peppersprayed kids. and they sentenced Trevion Blount to 118 years.. We are responsible for our children. We are responsible for our land. We are responsible for the wellness of our fellow man. We are responsible for today. I got wind of the Wild Horse Cull that they have been doing, despite the The Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971 (Public Law 92-195). Their management consists of rounding up, penning, killing, and conforming (adopting out). The Bureau of Land Management, rents the land out for domestic cattle. So why should the wild horses get to eat for free? Here is an organization that is helping the horses. Boycotting, writing, donating, speaking, rapping, praying, signing petitions, anything that you can do... makes a difference. My grandmother died May 1, 2014. It had been 18 years since I've seen her. Maybe 3 years since I talked with her. Appreciate this moment. Have love in your heart. and here is my meditation, sing it with me. Nahko, Aloha Ke Akua loosely translated "I see the breath of God in you" We can do all things, if we have faith and we work towards this goal. The question is what is the goal...

It's time

If it's in you to speak the truth... Do so. The greatness is inside you. I can see it. It's time to leave the petty vanity aside. Every time you are tempted to take another selfie to remind the world how beautiful or sexy you are...Think again. The world really doesn't care. In fact, this is only a distraction from the from focus. Anyone given the time, the makeup, the clothes, and filters can take a favorable pic. If you must remind that one person to lust after you, please just send it to him/her. With the problems the rest of the world is facing, it is disrespectful. Your act of distracting many to just to hear compliments. The time of "Look at me" has passed. Grow from these ghosts.
I got tired of seeing hair flipped around, blowing in the wind. I'm going to make you want me. Why? It had been my folly as well. It is a weird place that people find themselves. My professional shoots had an hour of paint on face followed by fake poses and coaxing for me to part my lips to drive the men crazy... I am grateful for those who are my mirror, the things that you do, show me the lesson within myself. To grow, to become the one I AM to become. Yes, I got...
or had beautiful hair and I loved it, but it seems not very important on the grand scheme of things. and now I just love my head and what's in it. We are all waiting for the world to change, but its not going to unless we change it. Shit happens and we point fingers, condemn, crucify daily. We tune in to hear big money tear people down. If we didn't laugh, then they would change it. So why don't we change it. To not allow yourself to be party to or entertained by the persecution of anything or anyone. Why don't we do without, to make a difference? Why don't we stop talking about ourselves? Pray for the families of the youth drowned at sea. Pray for the captain who made a bad judgment call (we are human, it happens) who sits there in persecution and isolation. Pray for the souljahs, who will choose the right judgment when faced with orders against their conscious, pray for the peace to overcome the souls afflicted with devastation, torment, ghosts. Pray for the youth to make good decisions in their daily lives. Pray for the police officers, judges, lawyers, and politicians to operate on how they would want to be treated. We are the mirrors of ourselves. Those criminals you face represent you. You might be protected by the money, but righteousness does not operate based upon teams. There is no crime without a victim. Who is the bad guy? As a teen, I witnessed, racist cop talk, with their after work beers. They laughed about the beatings, the tickets, the harassment. It was during the time of the rogue cop hero movie, wild boys...the handsome likeable actors. All these men passed a psych evaluation, they knew who they were hiring and the anger that swelled in them. They knew what it would create...loss of freedom, anger, frustration, depression, crime. Like the slave masters hired the slave catchers. Someone who got paid to beat down, imprison, and steal wages. When you are charged a fee/penalty, you become a slave, because you are working without reward. When you don't comply, then you are imprisoned, tortured, beat down, robbed of your life, and charged... If it is in you to speak the truth...Do so. The greatness is inside you. If it is in your power to pray...Do so. If it is in your power to uplift...Do so. If it is in your power to make a difference. A smile, a kind word, an uplifting thought. Do so, Do so, Do so. If is in your power to give. Do So. Money, I dare you, make a change. Some of you have been there, and now you leave your brothers and sistars, mothers and fathers in the trenches alone to face it and live it. When you have the power, but close your eyes to enjoy your jets, your yachts. What if I were to dare you to follow your own intuition? Trust yourself, for that is truly who you answer to? Throughout the ages it has been the kings, priests, courts, jailors, destroyers, hatemongers...those with the money and power to create serfs, slaves, criminals, crime, taxes, overconsumption, and gluttony. We can create the day we seek right now. Make a plan of the things you can do and say, use your talents, skills, resources and learn to do without so much. As we enter the Taurus moon, let us strive to let the light shine. To be kind, have kind thoughts, be fair, speak truth, stand up and be the change we seek in others.

ARE YOU SYRIA(US)????

You can not be Syria(US)! I am talking to US. Are we gonna commit genocide continually? Are we gonna close our eyes and accept this...continually? We do have a choice. We must stand in unity for what we know is right. Every dollar you make and spend, pretending that U.S. in our name is protecting US. Protecting security interests... We do not own the fucking world! We are acting like mercenaries and we have for some time. It is not for Freedom. Freedom? Do not lie and claim that word. Propaganda! It is the other side fighting for freedom while US competes to take over the world. It is the killing fields all over again. WAR. We Are Ravaging lands of ancient times, ancient people... WAR. We Are Representing warlords, mercenaries, killers, capitalist... WAR We Are Responsible for every bomb dropped, every child, mother, father cut down. We are cannot permit annihilation. How can we end terror without ceasing to terrorize? How many years and cultures and lives have we terrorized to conform, to corrupt, to capitalize? Please tell me, tell me that we have evolved. That we teach our children to not fight and to peacefully solve their issues. We are never going to completely agree, but putting a gun to your brothers head because he does not submit is barbaric. We must act every single day with intelligence and with love in our hearts. We must work together for a world in peaceful co-existence. We want to fight for oil? Take what is not ours. How much interests exactly are we wasting in trying to protect it? How much pollution, death, hate, tears, devastation, disabilities, mental disorders, anger, frustration are we creating? Causalities are not casual... on either side. Change is an individual choice and when individuals are brave and stand together...practice discipline...use their voice... Then we can be proud of our place in on this earth today. Brothers and sistars... fathers and mothers... aunts and uncles... cousins... Grandmothers and grandfathers say NO MORE! veterans, soldiers, police... Listen to our voices, it is in your hearts... use your money, your talents, your voice, your power, and your courage to defeat all acts of aggression, oppression, and all war. WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR US. We are one. Life is precious. Life is sacred. Let us evolve.

I am Blessed.

I am blessed with each breath that moves through me. I am blessed in each and every emotion I feel. Let it resonate within me for I CAN feel... and that is truly an amazing thing. I am blessed for each smile, for each life I touch and for every life that touches me. I am blessed for my laughter. I am blessed for each tear. Even though I feel these emotions so extreme it is my ability to share, to teach, to comfort, and to be me. Blessed be, Help me to be still, to quiet the mind , and to understand the lessons set before me. and help me to be stronger and wiser for it all. I know I am truly blessed.

In the valley

Last night I played under the whole moon. I watched the fog roll in and rise to the clouds that engulfed the light. Here in the sacred valley where the creeks have dried. I walked alone along a newly discovered trail.  Peppered with litter randomly. Picked some sage and horehound. I jumped from the rocks practicing agility and movement. I am the master over my body. Lost in this wilderness, time is of no essence. I am here listening to the dwindling river tell it's story. I am here because I have been called. I know not the destination, only the current path I walk. That is freedom.

Eat Life

It is time to awaken your inner warrior. It's been calling for sometime. But with all the stresses of day to day living, it is so easy to procrastinate. Everyday that you are not living, you are dying. These are the facts. You are what you eat. If you choose over processed, fried, overcooked food. Your body will be a representation of this. Instead of reading labels. Don't buy anything with labels. If it's been processed in a factory, you can bet it is not what your body is seeking. Eat simple. Choose life. The majority of your food intake should exist for nourishment to your body. Friends, Family, Farmers, and Fishermen for Food. The freshest picked, the least touched, grown with respect and love. It is also the connection between the grower and the plant that matters. I came across a book called "The Secret Life of Plants" from the 60's. It is an amazing eye opener. The energy of food is real. Your body absorbs this energy. It will reflect in your skin, your eyes, and your mind. Look in the mirror. Does your reflection represent who you are? Lets begin today. Breathe deep. Visualize what you want to see in the mirror each day. Stretch. Begin to condition your muscles to remember the days of youth and happiness. Use any and every moment to strengthen your body. Abs- while your driving. Flex and hold. Park far and walk. Begin to practice some form of self protection. Get strong. Life is precious and must be respected, for it is a gift. You must live to the fullest each day. Do not wait any longer to take control of your health and happiness. Dance. Laugh. Dream. Every day.

It's the end of the world

It's the end of the world, as we know it. A new day of promise. There is a higher wave of consciousness, breathing. We all feel it, but this as reminder. It's commitment and discipline. It's focus. Be a part of the change. Rise together in righteousness, as one. It is we, as slaves that follow the orders of destruction and dismay. To break these chains, you must reclaim your soul, you must speak and fight for what is right. Be good. Be kind. Pray for eachother, give with a pure heart, strive everyday to reclaim your body, mind, and spirit
The idea of money has become the chains of slavery. How many wrongs have you committed for money?  For the idea of money, that creates slavery, greed, crime, pollution, waste, garbage, poisons, war, destruction, loss of life, depression, persecution, the demise of the soul.
Start by refusing packaged food. Shopping farmers market. Eat from trees. Cook.  Encouraging gardens, throw seeds. Free the medicine. Learn what grows around you, its benefits, harvest and use.
Packages create garbage, pollution, and are a product of slavery.
Always have appreciation, respect, and love in your heart.
Keep a strong body. This is the call.

Shots fired in south sac Dec 20th

The half moon was bright in the winter night. Gazing from behind a small traveling cloud., it looked as a half closed eye, watching me. I quickly prayed for protection and strength.
I clearly heard at least 5 consecutive shots fired in the night air.  A pause and 3 or four more. I haven't been in my hood for 8 months now, and this was a forgotten familiar scenario. I prayed that this was street justice and not villainous. 5 minutes, I began to hear sirens.
Pray for justice, whatever that may be,  pray for uplifting for all interested parties, pray for revelations of truth, pray for the community. Young souljas, you have your place. Please practice patience, discipline, and righteousness; for that is the call. Elders, get involved. Speak truth devoid all hatreds, persecutions, and negative intent. Let us always seek to uplift and inspire, for we all have been broken.
Sirens here again. The vultures circle again.

as one

We, for sure have gotten ourselves into a mess. I feel as though my hands are tied behind my back. I struggle with sticking my head in the sand, or taking that tranquilizer so my brain can stop thinking and my eyes can stop seeing. I feel like my feet are caught in quick sand and I am being sucked slowly into the abyss. Does it matter that the majority of humans in this world want the same thing? Peace, Freedom, to be able to just simply breathe without having someone come up behind, telling us to do it another way or charging us for it. I move for a vote of no confidence. We must not be afraid. We must fight for what is right on a grand scale. Truly, the most powerful vote is how you spend your money. We must remove the importance of money from existence. We must exit the freeway towards destruction and take a more scenic route. Work less, spend less, waste less. Slow down. This is the way that we can lower the very cost of living and actually refocus our lives back into a symbiotic existence. We have become undisciplined, but we must remember our purpose. We are warriors and we must reclaim our power. We can choose our fate, but we must move together as one. The time is now.

Blessed Aina

I see a great leader in you. I believe you can unite the native people for independence and reclamation of the sacred lands of Hawaii. What is happening to your people has happened to my people. The division of native people. There is a hunger of the people for the same thing, for the love and honor of Aina. There is destruction and devastation of the reef through the poisonous fertilizers of the golf courses. There is political corruption with water rights. The problem is the divisions created to distract purpose. It is important to join with the native mind who have come to the islands, for Aina has called them here. For with numbers, there is strength. Join with the like minded throughout the color scheme. Respect. There has become a great loss of respect for what Aina provides. No one cares for the fruits of the trees. Factories and importation not only pollute the body, but pollute the land as well. Friends, Family, Farmers, and Fishermen for food. Alcohol is what led to the demise of the native people of the Americas. Native way is not the way of the past. It is the only way for the future. This planet will not tolerate any more disrespect or abuse. I have a vision of all native people standing together as soldiers with a purpose. Boycotting all imports and the polluting factories goods, demanding for Hawaii independence, teaching the youth discipline and love for Aina.

Note: It's raining.

It's raining.
How freeing is the rain!
In this moment, I stand at the edge.
Looking out, everything is within my reach.
There is no fear before me,
Only the endless possibilities of life.
Where to go, what to see, what to do.
Just to know it will come.
Because I am here.
Deep breath.
Exhaling all of the stresses completely.
The chains dissolve.
The light has come.

peacefully yours.

to simply survive

I simply want to survive as an equal life spirit in existance, with respect to my life purpose.
To live, learn, and grow without judgement or persecution.
I pray for the day
Stand together. The power is in unity.
Let go of fear and judgement and keep love in your heart. Respect life. It is.sacred. To coexist is peace.
Corruption is the deceit of the Soul.
We are not the lesser life forms that history claims. The slaves.
Our blood, our life, our souls have been reclaimed. No more!
We evolve because we must. Tribes of planet. Rise up today as the 99%. We can choose!
Work less, Spend less, love more.

Inspired.

I went back to a notebook. Pen and paper, to get all the ideas and thoughts to be in one place physical before me. I usually lose the inspiration once I carry a heavy bag around, fumble with the cords to finally turn on. No, it's really gone.
Besides those countless notebooks with decorated covers, doodles and scribbles, document moments otherwise forgotten, because of some consistent pc meltdown which causes you to lose another portion of your life. Shit.
My inspiration at this moment is Jackson Griffith who, inspired me to add to my blog.
Oh, in case you didn't know. Jackson did the most amazing piece for Jacovia on Cove-rt Operations (2001). A full page in SNR, "A Spy in the House of Soul"

He didn't get the full story cause I froze up on our interview.

I edited "What's Goin On" last week. Which is the 2nd song on the album. I just used random pics we've taken over the last 6 months.
It was work, but also freeing knowing that their would be a visual expression of our song. Video's are at the Sonada Malay site
I have been eating raw fruits, veges, greens, nuts, and seeds for the past week.
After making a 3 day- eat what you can find fast.
My plums were in season and a couple strawberries, and raspberries. I at some leaves, too. Soon I realized I would have to prepare for this fast with a garden, or more food.
So this raw diet is heavenly.
I don't think about food at all. I pass a plum and eat it. My daughter makes a big bowl of guacamole, add salsa, and we get a healthy portion that we are contented with. I know I've been more productive.

Quote of the day: "Life is a science project. Think, guess, learn, grow. "

Here are my morning thoughts
I believe in light. Good energy is manifested from a good heart. Calm your mind from these corruptions that send negativity out into the atmosphere. Negativity: To do harm, with dark intent, to fear with arrogance for greed.
To be pure of heart with the soldiers of righteousness to stand together for the respect of life. To live.
To live is the miracle we refuse to see. Because we are: it's as simply as that.
To be wronged and still seek to inspire is the greatest justice of all.
To rot in a cage is torturous. To be at peace with natural consequence is blessedness.
Do good and have good thoughts for one another. To be alone is despair.
Let's unite as one to rise against tyranny, casualties, and greed.
For respect for each life is sacred.
Do unto others as you would accept in turn.
Destroying life is the most dark.
Enslaving causing ill will and harm is deceitful.
Ask your brother and sister for forgiveness and move to lift up in life with fruitful thought, for a new existance.
The question is "Why can't we choose what is right and what is just?"
Why do we not say, "No More!"
It is how we feel as we are locked in this matrix of a plastic protected world.
Destroying this living earth.
STOP: Live simple; Learning, growing, loving, and evolving each day within what we hold true. That is Love.
The stress of relying on money and the freedom it takes makes the majority of us feel like slaves.
How many can attest to those stressful situations created by an unhappy working environment.
We have these conflicting messages: "Work more, Consume more, and save the world."
We have neglected the gifts of a craftsman for mass produced perfection supported by slavery. Because you choose not to see what you support by saving a buck.

Why can't we support life, not the struggle of this cat and mouse game.
Boycotting is the only way that we as a majority have power.
Slow down. Work less. Spend less, Love more.
We can end these wars of aggression.
Let's plan as a community to step up and plan a viable way to live for "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". Ideas that we have moved away from over the last century with the thirst for capitalism.
If you do not support what you are doing, boycott. Write a letter of "No Confidence" and quit.
Have faith in your soul not to close your eyes and pretend you are not doing evil work, whatever that may be.
Casualties are never casual.
Billions of bones are laid before our feet as the new empire takes over with consumerism, treaties, lies, and control.
Mountains and oceans of trash emerge as our civilization speaks for it's greatness. As slavery is encouraged, required, and promoted.
When they dig for us, what will they say about our time?
-As the river's are controlled, the forest continues to erode and the smoke of the city rolls on.

-This is the soul (r)evolution!

Prayers- the spiritual way

Over the years, I have learned that prayers come in all forms. As a child, praying was something you did to a mysterious huge man in the sky. Asking for this and that, prayer for help, safety, hope.
Different belief systems have held a magnifying glass over each other to pick apart and dissect each other to validate themselves.
What is understood is that we are from different tribes. We all see different truths.

The question is "Why Pray". What does it accomplish?
As an adult and evolved spirituality, I no longer concern myself with who I'm talking to but why. Sometimes we miss the point.
Humans have taken it into their mission to define everything. But that distracts us from the essence of prayer.
Prayer is a focus of energy.
To envision one who needs our strengths and lift him/or her.
Prayers come in different forms.
They can be songs, dance, thoughts, art, anything in which you become a vessel or translator.
This past year, I've written 3 prayers, no music. psalms.
Here is a prayer that I wrote for hope;

"I see you, working your way, through heartaches and confusion.
Don't despair. It's all around you, broken and wilted.
Listen for the truth. I see you."
*************
This is repeated until, I'm no longer called to sing it.

I see you. You are are here, you are not alone, I see your struggle. I lift you up.
Life is hard, hurtful, and emotional. Don't worry, we are all suffering. Be still and listen for the truth because it is around you.
When a thought of someone comes into your head, if you feel that this prayer will help them along their way, sing it.
I sing it for so many people. I've sung it for myself, when I've needed strength.

My 2nd prayer, I wrote for love.

"Morning came and love slipped away.
The dreams that we dreamed have, melted in the day.
How can we stand, if, we're just blown away.
For the world is full of heartaches.
And our lives just fade."

I sing this when I miss my husband, or for struggling relationships I come across. In encourage women to sing this for love.

The 3rd prayer, I wrote for my teenage daughters. It works to help get out stagnate energy. When someone needs something, but doesn't know what.

"Please, tell me what you need and if there is a way, I will be the one to claim to sun.
Give, all you will to me and I'll be the one that loves you, through all pain,
I will lift you high, as dreams turn to rain.
Come to me.
And love me for the way, I love you.
Lend me your light, and I'll shine for you.
For the love. For the love. For the love."

When you hear music and your body wants to dance. Listen.
Dance is a spiritual movement of energy. Let your body translate the rhythm and words.
Dancing is a prayer.
Do not look around when you dance, for you are praying. It is not for you to be concerned with how others judge you. It is not for them. It is worship.

When you put your hand to paper, or to earth. When your mind is still.
This is prayer.
Use prayer to uplift. If you get negative thoughts about someone or something. Clear these negative energies with prayers.
Sing one of the prayers, here. Or make your own. Give it power.
You will be blessed.

No Bravery- James Blunt

My daughter had gotten this cd that remained wrapped for 2 years, she kept on asking when I was going to open it, as she was so excited to have found a brand new cd for me with Beautiful on it. James Blunt.
I've listened to it twice fully within two days and with each listen, I love it more.
I tend to stay away for commercialized products as I am an independent artist.
Tasks: Sing Beautiful to someone.
Favorite song. No Bravery. Thank you, James. I'm a fan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbFr8mc9rj4
click the link above, watch it like it share it.

Whoever put that video together, please contact me at sonadamalay@gmail.com
I seek a world, where humans understand their power to choose right from wrong. Stand up together and be true. All that we have is this moment.
Let's live for a new day where we do not conquer civilizations, where we do not teach greed.
Soldiers you are beautiful, we are counting on you to stand up for what is right and true. Do not close your eyes to the atrocities before you. Devastation is disheartening.
Life, love, family, happiness, Joy, peace, freedom, and hope is how we come to peace of mind. We are all born the same, this is true.
Speak truth that war is a criminal act. To destroy life, love, hope, and children's dreams, will destroy us all.

Pilgrimage to Ohio..

Our family walking downtown Sacramento one rainy morning.

I remember the day, when I first decided to travel America, to make a pilgrimage back to Ohio. I would use my talents to get me there. I planned on taking the kids and making a solo journey, while Jacovia worked. I would play cafe's along the way, sell cds, and explore.
My goal to reach Ohio, so my children could meet their great grandparents and I could spend some time with them.
I've spent my whole life away from them except a few visits over the years. They are my native history.
Both of their parents being 1/2 Cherokee. They have lived their lives as whites, ensuring a better existence in the white man's world.
I told my dad, I would help them remember the native way, as the spirituality of my ancestors manifested through me.
I spoke of my intentions through the excitement of it all, and Jacovia asked me to wait for him so we could experience it together. That was 4 years ago.
Since then we have homeschooled the children, bought a school bus and have spent the last 2 years building it in to our home on wheels aka "tour bus".
We have been in Sacramento for the last 16 years. We traveled up to Seattle and down to LA, but never beyond that. Before we had kids, we flew Ohio and took a bus up to Buffalo. So both sides have met both me and Jacovia.
I dream of being free. Of waking up on the ocean or in a forest. Where we can treasure each moment given, instead of holding on.
It seems, life in the city is like that. A tricky game.
I feel I am robbed of the time with my husband as the years slip by and we barely make it anyways. Life in the city does not cater to the one income family. Society does not cater to dreams.
But I know that we must take risks, and follow our path. Security surely means minimal returns. And I want to live, laugh, play, and love.

It is this day that we are given.
It is this moment that is guaranteed .
Nothing beyond that is ensured.
My life is nothing without my journey towards fulfilling my purpose
and so I go...
