In the valley

Last night I played under the whole moon. I watched the fog roll in and rise to the clouds that engulfed the light. Here in the sacred valley where the creeks have dried. I walked alone along a newly discovered trail.  Peppered with litter randomly. Picked some sage and horehound. I jumped from the rocks practicing agility and movement. I am the master over my body. Lost in this wilderness, time is of no essence. I am here listening to the dwindling river tell it's story. I am here because I have been called. I know not the destination, only the current path I walk. That is freedom.

Eat Life

It is time to awaken your inner warrior. It's been calling for sometime. But with all the stresses of day to day living, it is so easy to procrastinate. Everyday that you are not living, you are dying. These are the facts. You are what you eat. If you choose over processed, fried, overcooked food. Your body will be a representation of this. Instead of reading labels. Don't buy anything with labels. If it's been processed in a factory, you can bet it is not what your body is seeking. Eat simple. Choose life. The majority of your food intake should exist for nourishment to your body. Friends, Family, Farmers, and Fishermen for Food. The freshest picked, the least touched, grown with respect and love. It is also the connection between the grower and the plant that matters. I came across a book called "The Secret Life of Plants" from the 60's. It is an amazing eye opener. The energy of food is real. Your body absorbs this energy. It will reflect in your skin, your eyes, and your mind. Look in the mirror. Does your reflection represent who you are? Lets begin today. Breathe deep. Visualize what you want to see in the mirror each day. Stretch. Begin to condition your muscles to remember the days of youth and happiness. Use any and every moment to strengthen your body. Abs- while your driving. Flex and hold. Park far and walk. Begin to practice some form of self protection. Get strong. Life is precious and must be respected, for it is a gift. You must live to the fullest each day. Do not wait any longer to take control of your health and happiness. Dance. Laugh. Dream. Every day.
