The Brain Tree

The Brain Tree

When you start to really look at the brain, it all begins with a seed, the seed that finds fertile ground and starts the chemical reaction of life.
The brain resembles an ancient tree with the root stem that resembles the seed.
The brain is the Tree of Life.
If you step back and look at the body as earth that nourishes the tree, what we put into our bodies is extremely important. The goal of making the body the most fertile nourished ground, allows the brain tree to flourish.
We know given a healthy body, everything works better.
These are the facts of trees:
1. Trees are the strongest, most valuable inhabitants of our planet.
2. Without trees, there is no life.
3. The root systems hold soil, which slow or prevent erosion,
4. The leaves create oxygen out of carbon dioxide
5. Trees provide shade which cool and protect the earth and it's inhabitants from the sun’s mighty rays.
6. They give fruit and nourishment.
7. Trees create fertile ground through their leaves and branches composting.
8. Trees provide Medicine
Did you know that the willow tree was originally what they used to make aspirin? Before that, healers boiled the bark and leaves as a pain reliever, simple as that. You don’t need a machine to make a pill, you don’t need money to buy it, you can go outside, cut a twig and boil it. Isn't that freedom? We must look to trees to give life.
We have forgotten that the purpose of life is to evolve.
We over work, over eat, over consume, over medicate, over stress, we are evolving into something that cannot survive without the machine.
We are chasing an idea of paradise, built off of slavery. We don’t even know how to be happy; as we watch our lives slip away punching the clock.
You must ask yourself,” What am I evolving into?”
